Asad Aleem is a distinguished HSE leader whose three-decade career at Engro was marked by landmark achievements in safety culture, fleet management, and community engagement. He led the initiatives that earned Engro its first-ever Dupont Rating 4 — one of the highest international benchmarks in process safety — and won two Marketing Excellence accolades for his Defensive Driving & Riding Programme, which dramatically reduced fleet accidents across the organisation and was subsequently adopted as a company-wide standard. 

Asad also developed a community safety awareness programme formally recognised by Engro’s board — a testament to his belief that safety excellence extends beyond plant gates. With an EMBA from LUMS, he combines technical regulatory expertise with strong leadership and an ability to embed safety as an organisational value rather than a compliance requirement.
